Alyssa Orr

Coach/Personal Trainer
she/her/hers

A resident of Portland, Maine, Alyssa sees herself as a guide for her clients as they embark on their own fitness journey. With deep experience as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer, and certified nutrition coach, Alyssa brings her love of proper training technique and focus to The Form Lab. As an athlete who began her fitness journey as a competitive bodybuilder, she trained hard, competed, and won her share of titles before realizing that the way she was training was not good for her body. As a result, Alyssa took a break, and stepped away from bodybuilding. She wanted to learn all she could about functional movement, so she could train people to avoid the injuries she had sustained while pushing her body to its limit. While still keeping her body, mind, and spirit strong, she’s also deeply committed to training people properly so that her clients avoid the mistakes she made along the way.
