DOUG FERGUSON

Coach/Personal Trainer
he/him/his

Doug is a Maine native who grew up in Cumberland, graduating from North Yarmouth Academy before moving to South Carolina for college. His slow migration back north to Maine saw Doug living in New York, where he studied filmmaking, and Boston, where he worked in the film industry in the locations department. However, he realized getting yelled at by production
managers during 18-hour days was not how he wanted to spend his life. His fitness epiphany came shortly after his time in Boston – overweight most of his life, Doug lost 75 lbs and rehabilitated his back pain from scoliosis. Doug loves helping clients with corrective exercise needs, and his Master’s in Kinesiology honed his passion for sports medicine and rehabilitative exercising. Doug is a Yarmouth resident and will be traveling to Paris this year to cheer on his girlfriend in the Paris Marathon. Doug enjoys speaking in movie quotes and relishes a conversation about Alfred Hitchcock’s film techniques as much as he does a debate on the most powerful Marvel superhero.
