Sage Murnane

Coach/Personal Trainer
she/her/hers

Sage is originally from Illinois, lived up and down the east coast and overseas, but after 14 military moves with her family, she has happily called Scarborough her home for the past 5 years.  Sage earned her BA at St. Louis University in Secondary Education, and taught biology for several years. Once her husband began to deploy, she decided to stay home to raise their four kids.

Sage has always had a passion for fitness and saw an opportunity to begin a new chapter once her youngest started school.  She became a Certified Personal Trainer in 2016 in Maryland, and worked as a trainer for a year before their final move to Maine.  Once she obtained her certification she was hooked.  Sage truly enjoys helping people learn proper movement and to see them meet their goals. She continues to seek out new ways to help her clients achieve their desired fitness level in a safe and steady manner. She believes in a balanced lifestyle that encompasses all dimensions of health and wellness. Sage specializes in functional fitness, corrective exercise, and strength training. She prioritizes proper form and a strong core as the building blocks of a successful fitness program.

Sage enjoys working with those who are new to exercise as well as those with more experience looking to increase strength and stamina. Making the most out of each workout session while working toward your personal goal is the standard by which she trains.
